Hey from GA!!!

It has been quite a while since I've been on here. I just got done watching the movie "Julie and Julia". What an inspiring movie! Now I want a copy of Julia Child's book, and I want to learn to cook like her.
Since my last blog, a lot has happened in my life. I have moved back home to Georgia and I'm working at the McD's up here in GA. It is a different owner than the McD's in FL was. I like it up here a lot better because this is home. Before I came back home, my ex-husband told me, "Give it 3 months, you'll be back in LaBelle", and I can't see that happening anytime in my near future. I'm really enjoying being back around family. Here I know there are people that care, in LaBelle they could have cared less if you existed or not. Nope, don't think I'll be moving back there. I do miss Ft. Myers, though, but I can always go back and visit.
Mama has started going to the Mayo clinic. They are giving her a lot more hope than the dr's in Atlanta ever did. They have said that since her "bleeds" are the only major symptom to what she's got, that they can treat it, and that it may be years before she has to have a transplant, if even at all.
Well, let me get going for now. I have to check my farmtown (yes, it is very addicting) before I go to bed. I'll talk to yall later!

Celebrity Customer

We had a celebrity visit our store last night. Vanilla Ice ("Ice, Ice Baby") stopped by for a bite to eat while on his way to a concert in Cape Coral last night. It was pretty cool. Once people recognized him, he was really cool and stuck around a few more minutes for autographs and pictures. He was a very nice guy. I'm gonna post a pic below.

Now it's April

And things are going good! Well.... for the most part they are going good! I'm still living and enjoying the single life! Work still sucks, though! How is it that you can sit on your ass in the office for an entire month, work one hour of a shift and earn a bigger bonus for "the best times" when everyone underneath you can work their asses off, strive for the best times, and get shit on when it comes to a bonus? Hmmmmmmmmmm............. Well, that is what is going on at work. Oh, and the one who got the 2nd highest runs about an hour a day of a shift, and serving only coffee at that....... so....... gimme the coffee shift for an hour and the other 8 sitting on my ass, I bet I can earn a big bonus!
Now, I am done venting! That is how I feel. That is how a few feel! We are very angry over this!
Anyway, just had to vent for a moment! So, I feel better now! I have some chicken baking in the oven. I have been in such a "chicken" mood lately.
Let me get going for now. I gotta watch today's episode of "Y&R". I'm so hooked on that show!

Been a while!

It has been a while since I posted here! I didn't have internet for about 2 months, but it's back on now. I have started seeing someone new, his name is Chris. I've been seeing him since mid-November. He's a cool guy, but we're taking things very very slow trying to get to know each other. This soon after leaving a marriage, I'm certainly not ready for anything serious, but Chris is really cool to hang out with. The pic below is of us at my Christmas party for work a couple of months ago.

The divorce is almost final. Can't wait for the day I get my last name back.

I did finally get a chance to visit Georgia last week. It was a refreshing and relaxing trip. I got to see both my little neices. The one (Mayson) I'd not met yet, but now I have. Both of them are adorable. Here are some pics of them.
