It's still called STEALING.........

I bought some air fresheners for the house the other day, and they are not cheap. I even got the dollar store brands because I couldn't afford the regular ones, that way I'd have 2 to replace for the ones that are out, and the rest I could get later on. For days I've been looking for the 2nd one, only to find out a few minutes ago that my daughter took it upon herself to TAKE IT, and put it in her room. You never asked if you could put it in your room, you didn't have my permission to put it in your room. I've looked for it for days, only to discover you TOOK IT, WITHOUT permission. That is still considered stealing! Theft! If it's NOT yours to take, you don't just take it! It doesn't matter how "petty" it may be to one person, to someone else it's not petty, and it's money out of their pocket for something you didn't have permission to get, and for something you didn't earn. If all you do is constantly give me a hard time EVERY single day because you don't get your way about something, what gives you the right to take something that I bought that was intended for the house? What the hell makes you think that everything will always just be "handed to you on a silver platter"? Life doesn't work that way. You have to work for it, and you have to earn it. What if I'd called the store I made the purchase at, and told them they didn't put one of those air fresheners in the bag, and I either got a replacement or the money back? That's really a case of stealing then! And when I found out you had taken it and put it in your room, I'd have really felt stupid!
Anyway, the point is, you don't take what doesn't belong to you! You don't steal something that someone else worked for just because you "want it" and you think it would be "nicer" in your room, when in fact it was intended for another part of the house. Yeah, maybe it is a little petty, but stealing is still stealing! It's a habit you need to break RIGHT NOW before it gets you into a world of trouble later on in life!
Ok, that's all I've got to say for now!

Later,

Priscilla
