The LaBelle School System

Oh Wow! How wonderful they really are! Ok, whatever!

A few weeks ago, the school staff of LES decided to take it upon themselves to put my son in one of their own personal vehicles and bring him to my workplace. Yep, they sure did! Well, all hell broke loose after that, b/c it is illegal for them to do that! We have gone round and round since then with the school board. I've met with the Assistant Superintendent, he was actually a very pleasant person, and very apologetic, BUT I still wonder how much was accomplished in my trying to get my son out of LES next year. I want him at UES next year, I think he'd flourish better there. I have this sinking feeling, in my heart, that he will be in LES next year, though. I just have that feeling.

Anyway, Aaron has been tardy a few times this year. Being tardy at least 10 or 15 times (can't remember which) counts for one absence (I can understand that). Aaron was tardy at least as many times as Taylor, if not more, and she got her tardinesses counted against her. NOW that David and I have stirred up a ruckus at the school, Aaron got awarded perfect attendance this year. I'm glad he got it, but would be PROUD if it were true. The politics of the school system, to keep parents "quiet" and to keep things from being stirred up, OH MY GOODNESS! Just goes to show you the politics of this little town! OMG!

What a f*cking crock some things really are!

And, anyone from the LaBelle School System staff who may be reading this, PLEASE don't take it away from my child, you'll break his heart, but know, as his parent, I know what is going on!
